For years I dreamed of get to this place. Dreams in purple and green at night, Pleasant scents of lavender on the pillow, Wading wine in crystal glasses small. Finally came the awaited day. I'm wondering and debating how to write you this post. I know that many of you freaks area, But oddly enough, I personally, Provence experience was somewhat controversial. Since this blog Blog, And life is not always rosy everything as you draw, So I decided to bring you specifically point of view Custom on the spot, As I experienced it. There is no doubt gorgeous views, Excellent wine, Delicious pastries, But for me, It is also a place people, Hospitality, Food and atmosphere. These, Unfortunately, I could not find. So if you're still at it, Click here, if not, The images will speak for themselves, One of the most beautiful places in France.

We landed Marseille, France, The closest town to this incredible tamper-called Provence, After a long drive we arrived not one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stay in them Hotel L’hermitage. Old mansion surrounded by an enchanting garden, Amos Figurines, Pool gorgeous, And beautiful spots. The design was simple-and-see-L. I could not think of a better place to escape the bustle of the country. After a short period, We had planned a six-day trip, Including visits to nearby towns as well as those more distant. (A word of warning about the hotel, Small double beds in a funny name, and we were forced to huddle very close to the romantic atmosphere so as not to fall :-))

The beautiful life!

We started visiting the museum lavender. One of my favorite things in this world this plant. Apart from the smell that obscures the senses, He also user, Dyed purple heavenly, And has exceptional healing properties, Which came out only to realize once. We arrived to Musee De La Lavande במקום הנקרא Le Chateau Du Bois. There we were able little about growth, Origins and properties. We loaded our bags and wonderful products we headed to Gordes, One of the most beautiful towns in which we encountered on this trip. An entire town that Tripod Mount. I can say with certainty that this was one of the towns that explain face, Pleasant tasting where we were. Sights that were overlooked Luberon Mountains picturesque and breathtaking. This whole region (The Luberon), Amos small villages and charming, Markets and beautiful churches. Special panoramic view, And if you get it on Friday morning you will visit the local market. If you are in, You may also want to visit the town of Roussillon, A picturesque town that soil and walls are painted in a reddish-brown, and she called Ochre. Cliffs gorgeous, And a spectacular view, it mentions something very pristine Our ball.

Favorite cafe in Isle Sur La Sorgue

The next target was Isle Sur La Sorgue, One of the towns to the speaker and recommended by the travelers in the region. Is full of narrow alleys with shops selling souvenirs, Pastries and antiques, And on Sundays there is a flea market and the region's largest Antiquities. For some reason, We personally do not particularly admiring the scene. People are not welcoming (It would seem Standard typical in France), The food was mediocre and expensive unreasonable. Despite the many recommendations, We preferred not to dwell in it and went next destination, Aix en Provence.

Stone houses with blue and green windows on the sides of roads…
I could not with these windows… If I could just put a shutter Briefcase…

B- Aix-en-Provence found ourselves in a big city, Lively, Full of restaurants, Coffee shops, Shops and markets everyday. There was everything from it all. Some were surprised to load, The size and bustle, But we were happy to see some smiling faces Frenchman prevailed depressed little towns. I think to myself that someone will be happy to live in such a pastoral, But for some reason, The faces of the residents were completely lifeless. We strolled the sunny-weather autumn, We drank wine without end, And when we were already really drunk, We decided to finish off the picnic true French. We headed to the local supermarket and loaded baguette, Cheese quality, Chocolate desserts and we were gone the mysterious garden of our favorite hotel. It was fun!

Palais des Papes in Avignon
Oldest bridges, The walls and the Rhone river nearby Avignon, Capital of Provence

The day after was targeted for visiting Avignon, A charming city with a unique character. It lies near the Rhone River and a long walled ancient bridges. My constant Nig'osim, Drag Frankie famous papal palace visit Palais Des Papes French popes lived in it during their tenure. The architecture was interesting, And spicy stories about the church treasures hidden, Just like a number of Dan Brown. After a tour of the palace, I had to agree in return to touring the tourist train. We do not yet middle-aged, But the tour was definitely refreshing, And for 7 Euro per person to- 40 M, We got a quick glimpse of the best spots in town, We went on foot to later.

Chateau La-it, Castle hugs cliffs

From there we went to Les Baux, Visit an ancient village which turns out mandatory. Mainly because of the walls and the ancient sons. There, too, were surrounded by stunning mountain landscape full of wineries and grape orchards. If you came to, Visiting Chateau Des Baux Is probably the highlight. Among the most important historic site in French medieval atmosphere, Knights and soldiers welfare place, And alleys offer souvenirs like swords, Shields and chocolate you should not miss.

Wayne after my own heart

But Provence is not Provence without wine, And so we found ourselves inexplicably drawn to one of the towns which is special and nice Winery. Domaine De La Citadelle. Through spectacular forests and olive vines, Led us to the sleepy town Menerbes, Out of sight with landscapes which only one was worth it for them to get to. Unfortunately, There also were not particularly nice, After a very brief explanation (Because they have no patience for anyone) We tasted a number of wines, We purchased a variety of bottles and peeked inside to a private collection of over 1600 Corkscrews the owner. With wine went lost in Jerusalem and decided it was time to impregnate the wine a good meal.

Fields with lovely pumpkins

I can not tell you a mouthful I ate with my heart in this region. Despite statements by many that the food there is divine, We were sent by the local dining or experience which amounted to Medium exorbitant price. Right, Delicious pastries, As well as baguettes and cheese, But the restaurants were disappointing, The people were tart, Real or contrived Service, And really lucky there was a lot of wine around to cover the situation. Most of all I was pleased charming coolness which we fled back to France. The sun caressed us by the pool, reminding us that not worth getting pissed off achieve when you are in such beautiful.

Local market at Carpentras
Colorful and beautiful
With lots of inedible things my opinion…
But certainly beautiful sight
Yes, These tomatoes

Other days we walked around other nice towns like Carpentras, Saint Remy, Pernes les Fontaines. Carpenters market was busier all the best, But again prices hit us in amazement, And lack of civility of the locals. what to do, Everything is not always as beautiful as it looks from the outside.

Even the ones I did not eat
But those certainly yes
The ones I'm not sure…

Return to Marseille for the flight home meeting us with a city full of cousins, The smell of urine and sweat on the streets and a general feeling of wanting to run away as fast as possible. Gaza's kind large, With clothing stores eighties, Local punks and fear. I wanted to run out. Life. We stopped eating at the restaurant most friendly and we found that we were just see P-in-jerusalem from this trip. Amounts baguette and cheese consumer we managed to raise the level of cholesterol in unbearable, And really we were happy to jump to a salmon with rice brasserie Le Grand Escalier front of the main palace in Marseille. What can I tell you, If you do not have to go there, Skip this city. What is, at last, The food was delicious and I swallowed it greedily.

I do not know how you summarize this trip. You do not want to ruin the magic of Provence, But for me it's not that. There is no doubt a beautiful place, But there's nothing like Tuscany full of warmth and love!
