For bad weather days just like today, I do feel like tomato soup steaming. Tomato soup according to Jamie Oliver

Materials (4 Packet)

1 Onion, peeled and finely chopped
1 garlic clove, Peeled and finely chopped
1 Carrots, peeled and coarsely grated
Handful fresh basil sprigs (Without leaves), Finely chopped
Olive oil for frying
6 Tablespoons heavy cream
1 Teaspoon red wine vinegar (I gave up and instead added a spoonful of sugar.)
2 Egg yolks (I gave up on them.)
1 K.”C really ripe tomatoes (Harvester way you can use whole tomatoes, Poached, peeled and canned)
5 Cups vegetable stock, Or chicken-flavored soup
Sea salt and black pepper, Freshly ground

I also add a stalk or two of small sliced celery and some leaves, And spices, too, dried thyme leaves..

Preparation

1. Put the onion in a large pot, Garlic, Carrot and basil stalks with a few sips of olive oil. Cover the pan and cook over a low heat- 20 M, Stirring occasionally, Until everything is browned slightly.

2. In a small bowl, whip the cream, Vinegar and egg yolks (Yellow).

3. While frying vegetables, Put the tomatoes in boiling water for 30 S, Remove, Remove the peel and dice rough. Add the tomatoes and vegetables in the pot, Add the stock or broth, Cover and cook on low flame 20 M. (The small flame spends more than the sweetness of the tomatoes)

4. Remove the soup from the heat and crush it in a food processor (Or hand blender), Carefully return the pot, Bring to a gentle boil and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

6. Serve with fresh bread.
